Location: Zhujiang New Town, the central business area of Guangzhou, China
Students: 2.5-5 Years Old
Allocation of Teachers: 20 students in a class with 4 teachers
Working Hours: 5 Days and 40 working hours per week, 40 academic teaching weeks, a minimum of 10days Professional Development Days / Collaboration Days for new semester per school year required
1. Responsible for the development of the International Baccalaureate curriculum (Teach English, Math, Phonics, UOI and other classes).
2. Work together with the Chinese homeroom teacher to manage the class, take care of children, ensure children’s safety, set up class agreements and help children develop their self-regulation.
3. Responsible for environmental displays, communication with parents, writing reports and the class newsletters.
4. Assess children’s development 3 times a year and coordinate parent-teacher meetings.
5. Organize or take part in all kindergarten activities and/or any other event including PD days.
6. Help write or proofread English version of kindergarten’s official website’s newsletter, marketing documents, and other kindergarten documents as necessary or requested.
7. Work professionally with a positive and committed attitude, enhance work synergy and create a highperformance team.
– Native English speaker (Nationality: American, Canadian, British, Irish, Australian, New Zealander, South African) with a Bachelor’s Degree or above (No major limit)
– TEFL/TESOL/CELTA certificate or 2 years of teaching experience
– Age from 18 to 50 years old
– Patient, responsible, enthusiastic, culturally aware
– Competitive salary between 15,000CNY – 22000CNY / Month
