Requirements to teach English in China

- A TEFL, TESOL or CELTA certificate, which you can complete online before you go

Teaching and living in Shijiazhuang
Shijiazhuang is the capital of Hebei province, a city of around 11 million people with its own subway and a high-speed rail link that reaches Beijing in about an hour. Teachers get big-city convenience with a lower cost of living, plus weekends exploring the capital and the Great Wall.
There's plenty to see closer to home too. The temples and pagodas of the ancient town of Zhengding sit just north of the city, the Zhaozhou Bridge is one of the world's oldest stone arch bridges, and the Taihang Mountains to the west offer hiking and cliffside temples. The school's bilingual team helps new teachers find an apartment, open a bank account and settle in.
