Permanent teachers work with the same school on a long-term basis. When you work with students in a permanent teaching job over a long period of time, you'll see them improve and advance in their education. By the very nature of the position, permanent teaching jobs can provide excellent structure and routine to both a teacher and student's classroom life.
If you're a permanent member of staff at a school, you'll get to know your department and working environment inside and out, which can make it easier to advance your career.
Working as a permanent teacher, as the name implies, will provide you with a long-term contract. You won't be in danger of having your contract terminated without warning, and you won't have to worry about unpredictable monthly income. You'll also form a strong and lasting bond with your students as you will see them on a daily basis over a long period of time.
